It is essential that neurodiverse persons have their healthcare needs met in the same manner as those that are neurotypical. To support neurodiverse individuals to express their needs to healthcare professionals and to help healthcare professionals better understand neurodiversity and the unique needs of each individual, Autism Information and Advice, along with a number of partners, designed and launched a Derbyshire Autism Spectrum Condition Passport.
